Rumors that Britney Spears was getting married in Las Vegas Saturday night spread like wildfire last night, but the buzz was premature: She was in town for a performance attended by a slew of celebs.
VegasDeluxe.com?s Robin Leach was the first to clarify the rumor, tweeting, that Britney didn?t just attened ? but performed: ?Britney Spears did fly into Vegas tonight and sang with Ludacris and Chris Browne [sic] for launch of Everyday?Birthday dropping Saturday.? Las Vegas Review Journal gossip columnist Norm Clarke tweeted that Chris Brown, Ludacris, Ashton Kutcher, Kanye West, Michael Phelps, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ke$ha and Paris Hilton were among the party-goers. Reporter Alicia Jacobs added that Pharell, Snoop Dog and Drake also attended.
As for wedding buzz, Robin wrote, ?Britney looked great excited happy and engagement ring shining bright. No wedding this year but ?soon.? Springtime.?
The party features a circus-like theme, with tent, ferris wheel and elaborate lighting and fireworks (at 12:45 a.m.!). Watch the video below!
